Well I refitted the valves tonight and set the clearences

Only had to grind one shim to :D

Here is the Head built up..

And my new Fancy Inlet, its a Td lower with a redrilled N/a upper and the inlet pipe extended. Look good and should flow better to

As you can see it should flow nice.

I Spent a while wire wheeling the lower half then I gave it a coat of primer.

That will do for tonight I think.

it is actually! he should have stopped and primmed it to seal it. if you paint that now it will pop and fall off.

You do realise Primer is just a porous as Filler. It rained heavily for 20 minutes, we sheeted the car down and afterwards I removed the sheet, took the photo and then dried it off and covered over with a PVC sheet and tape.

I can hardly prime the panel when its raining.

Me and the people helping with the build are experienced enough and qualified enough to know what to do in these situations and have done many other projects over the years! Thanks for the advice though.

Well yesterday I stripped my other shaft out.

Wire wheeled one Cv, they both need painting now.

And today I came home and finished all the front end of the welding. I.e. splash gaurds, towing eye and battery clamp stud.

    Very happy about this

    Here is a few pics

    Splash gaurds..

    Towing eye nut..

    Clamp stud

Hoping to get the welding done this weekend.. Fingers crossed!
