Just using front & rear subframes and running gear. Not gonna make the floorpan fit the nova. Going to have the subframes bolt up to the cage assembly then floorpan around it. Thats the plan anyway. Will need your help Mark to work out roll centres etc.

so what's gonna happen to the porsche running gear?
MX5 gear is great but ultimately I'm thinking of long term power upgrades etc. Originally I was obsessed with keeping 4x100 PCD to run the 17" mistrals I had but now I've woke up! The great thing with using the nissan setup is there is a huge wealth of parts out there for not a lot of money because they're common. For example, a completely rose jointed, fully adjustable rear end can be had for £200. Also, having another 200sx as a toy, when I upgrade power on that the old bits can go on the track car or vice versa.
I won't be cutting it up. I'll most likely, once I've robbed all the running gear, completely shot blast the underside and seal it then store the shell.

I've already weighed in the transaxle & torque tube when my old vectra went bye bye. The XE I was gonna use will stay on the shelf. The SBD XE to type 9 bell housing adapter I bought I will ebay when I get round to it! The gbox on tube owe me nothing so I'm not at a loss.
