Iirc the 3M stuff you have is over paintable I've used it a few times

You need a product by 3M called Body Gard. It is a rubberised finish like the OE finish and is over paintable. Can't find it on Fleabay but most good motorfactors should sell it

Hi all I have had the nova underside, engine bay and inside floor pan sandblasted and then red oxide'd to keep rust from forming while I carry out more work. will get the pictures when I'm back at work. so next on the list is sorting shell out for primer's ie area's that have been welded. My lass has given me Saturdays where I'm aloud to work on nova woop woop so should be getting cracking in next few weeks (it's about time like
