    Nice work mate, glad you wen the extra mile to strip the underneath, a mentally painful task but you'll be glad you do it once its all painted up!

    Thanks, appreciate that. I was waiting for a comment on the welding good/bad, I thought it was really good but Then I'm only a painter not a welder so wasn't to sure

    yeah I thought the same, its only a couple of extra weeks work but well worth it plus I'd be daft not to do it after being lent the split/jig.

    Hopefully if my boss is ok with it - I'm going to get the underside and engine bay blasted by a mobile sandblaster, got a quote for £150 so sounded reasonable he can come on Saturday and will get into all the niggle bits better than me and go over it all as well. Fingers crossed

    That is one clean looking chassis, If you can get a sand blaster on it, itll clean up a treat.

    Your really going to town on this one like mate, Id toss a load of valubale rare parts and a nice colour on it, make a one off!
