I've got a SIP 135 turbo and it's a horrible welder. It's not smooth, the wire snares up at every opportunity, and will not produce a proper weld on anything other than brand new clean stock. Mine is banished to the back of the garage, never to be used again

I've got a 160TM and love it, anything 151+ Has their better wire feed on it iirc, that's used all the way up to their 4 figure industrial gear.

Well Yesterday I started with this...

Notice the lack of floor and chassis leg....

So first of all I removed the rest of the leg.

And the offending item, notice this part is completely rot free.

Once all that was done I cleaned up the metal and clamped in the new leg I made last year.

    I then tacked it in.

Made a cardboard template for the floor.

Then used a piece of 2mm to patch it up, I did clean up the other side before welding it in btw, and I cleaned the top side when it was welding in.

After a grind down and a wire wheel I gave it a quick coat of primer,...

I welded the underside, then got bored and went 'shagging' as Lewis kindly put it!

    Nice welding dude.
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce

I dared to cut the sill off today... lmao rot box!!

So i cut the top edge and down the sides to have a quick look.. OMG

    Then ripped that all off..

    Yumm

    and the front

    First hole...

    Cut out

    and another hole cut out

    New piece

Welded in, and then I ran out of gas

So I spent ages sanding, grinding, wire wheeling the bay so I could zinc prime the seams

any way here is the results, just need sanding now ready for filler
