Told you it was a cheap torch coming your way

I had to take a little bit more metal out of there aswell.

I used the corsa internal shifter and linkage as it is a direct fit, no shortening of the shaft required

I even got realy giddy and welded a washer in front of that hole/underneath for the shifter to slide in to remove any form of play

Not a bad idea at all..

Right...

No turning back, paint has been ordered and paid for!!

Few other bits done last night (no pics as yet)

Handbrake hole welded up.
Extra bracket for the EPAS column made.
Mirror plates welded on for mirror fitment.

Plus, had a tidy up of the garage again...


And the poly bushes from Flo Flex for the radiator mountings arrived.

I have no deadline, I'd like it to make it to a show this year, running or not.
