Looks well Jeff but............................ I cant help feeling the engine,suspension and nice looking exhaust would suit hua even better!! Two projects are one to many in my book and with what parts you have they could make for one epic build!

I'd agree.... except I drive it to work and you can't really do that with a show car, also, I built this one and I get to practice before touching HUA. I toy'ed with the idea of getting a mk5 r32 for workOriginally Posted by Nick J

Still looks class jeff can remember seeing it in the flesh when we came and got the old engine from it glad it's still getting some attention although red one steels the thunder abit! Keep it up lad!
HUA is screaming turbo,my eyes are firmly re-focused on the daily again. I'm hoping to find some brand new skirts for it.
I'm gutted it took so long and it was such a simple thing, felt really stupid when i came back indoors and told the missus, ive moaned for months about it,but two Kids and the dark nights meant I didn't have time to sort it out.

Little update, primarily collecting new parts for its return to standard gsi form.
Got some front window trims last year from Nick J, and they have now been joined by excellent condition rears
Also received the brand new sideskirts and fitting kit, unfortunatly the long bits have some scuffs on, anyone know how to smooth scuffs on these without using filler, I was thinking of brown paper and a warm iron! does that sound stupid?????
I also took it along to the SE meet on Saturday at Bluewater, this was my first actual attendance ever at a regional meet.
The plan is to source some upol medium grey for the B pillars unless I can find a truly close copy to the vinyl, I'm also on the lookout for a front splitter but not the laguna one, probably another vauxhall one, I like the Astra H one.

Thanks mate, i'm enjoying the black one now all the teething problsm see to have been cured. Although the engine light came on this morning with error code 83 - injector 3 low voltage.love your nova's jeff
