benn saw earlier in the thread you said you didnt think 15in wheels would fit over your brakes, if your still running the willwood 4 pots with 280mm disks 15s do fit there tight but fit i sling a pair on the front of mine when i go on the strip, well used to before some robbing b nicked them
Oh right, cheers for the tip.

think it will depend on wheel design though, ive had 3 sets of 17s on the saloon 2 needed spacers and the otheres were fine luckily the softstars on the van cleared with no spacers, the 15s i had were just a set of dare 5 spokes but cleared fine needed 5mm spacers though
Yeah its the shape of the spokes.

Hhhmm been a while since i updated, that cause i've been working away..
So rear beam... With it off and at the powder coaters i stripped the hubs down..
Backing plates cleaned and painted,
Beam back.. Looks great, had to drill out the old bushes (hence the rusty dust in some pics)
Time to build the hubs and braking bits up.. Garage isn't the nicest place too sit. So made a work bench and sat in front of the tv to do it..
Not a fun job when you stripped it a month before and didn't take any pics to help you remember...
Discs grease masked and painted. (painted the edge of the disc as i hate it when they are all rusty)
Grease it,
Then paint it,
Then wipe paint off and the braking surface is clean...
So then start rebuilding beam, Remember my bad caster? Using some tig (soh-cah-toa) i worked out what was needed to fix it and had some shim made to correct. (left 1.4mm and right 2.9mm cut on a lathe)
