Small update on the nova folks.

I decided to give the front end suspension and steering components a refresh recently which turned into me buying new bilstein dampers and all new bushes and bearings and having the powder coating re done ! f.

so any way here is what is was like before, which wasnt that bad, only a light amount of over spray from the respray and light damage over the years since it was first done.

    Got to love cable ties

While the bits were off at the powder coaters, i dismantled my dampers and sand blasted the top mounts spring cups etc

Then painted them all and fitted new bearings and spring dampers

Also blasted the hubs and painted then aswell

Then i called into the powder coaters and my way home from work the next week to collect all the parts.

Fitted new bushes to the traction control arms and used new bolts to secured then to the car

The new bilstein dampers all built up with the top mounts etc, and powder coated springs to match the rear ones.

Also finished painting the rest of the brake lines on the car, still some areas of the white paint to touch up and steering rack boots to change but still.

Now the front end it all built back up with new bolts etc.

Not bad for a set of brakes i salvaged off of "H1GTE"

Then fitted the new rear dampers also got the rear dust covers from bazil as the dampers never came with any so got a pair of old ones from him and cleaned them up and covered them in blue heat shrink so they match the fronts now, and sand blasted the metal caps at the to and powdercoated them in work the only blue they had , big thanks to allan for these, saved the day once again .

I have lost quite a lot of the pictures from doing the front end stuff when my camera decided to fook up sadly

    That is all

    iain
