    Default weber 40 carbs

    hi,
    i have a set of Weber twin 40 cars on my 1.3sr nova. I want to remove them and sell them but what will i need to get my car running normally?

    you will need to get a standard carb and manifold for your car. then just swap them over. put a post in the wanted section and somebody might swap with an sr plus give you cash for your 40s

    You'll also need the water hoses to the heater matrix, a throttle cable, and a suitable air filter Like kevs says, you might be best doing a swap/cash for a standard 1.3 inlet and carb. Standard inlets and carbs tend to do good money as the stock rod boys are always after them.

    Why not check the jets against what is listed on the Nova sport. I'd wager yours not set up too well. What is wrong with yours anyway?

    got the webers out tonight and have fitted a standard setup. the reason for me removing them was at 18 and on apprentice wage they just wernt cost affective. They are amazingly good and add soo much power but id rather have a car i can afford to fuel.
