    the reason the wings went black was i got a brand new GM set for £30 and the bonnet went black because of this...



    then the rust set in on the rear arches...so they were welded and painted black, then the whole car went black. its a tailgate you didnt see the brown dash that was cut up .

    ive seen a corsa b boot lid welded into one before to make the back window

    been to the scrappy today and picked up a near rot free mk3 astra estate tailgate (bit of rust under the grab handle) did a quick lineup in the dark and its a very good fit. will need a slight bit of chopping to fit properly. ill get some pictures tomorrow in the daylight.

    does anyone know how to get the glass out? is it the same way as a nova

    no pull the seal out and prise the window out managed to get the nova one out in one piece

    yeah your best of buying a new rubber and cutting it out of the old one as a window is more expensive than a rubber (just incase you break it)

    i gota be honest bubba i hate what you have done to the dash and tailgate but im liking the fact you coverd your car in tape and puled off the paint for your mates memorial....will be good when its finished.keep it up bubb
