    Thanks for the supportive comments lads, iam hoping to make a start on the rear beam this week, get it off the car and have it powder coated and fit the new bushes and tidy up some of the paint work underneath the car.

    Well I hope I have given you the inspiration to crack on with your sport edd !

    Well not posted for a while, but have been busy working away on the nova when i had the time.

    I stripped the rear beam off for shot blasting and powder coating about three weeks ago.

    Anyways heres the pics .











    All loaded into the back of the astra




    So while the parts were away i cracked on cleaning/shotblasting and painted a few of parts like the stub axles, rear arb, brake lines etc
    After talking to bazil about what colour to paint my brake lines, we decided green was the colour to go for to look factory vxl spec, thanks matey.









    Now to build it all back up again .

    The beam was built up with new bushes, bolts and bearings .

    Are they flo flex lower spring mounts?

    How happy are you with your bumpers after you sprayed them in upol mid grey? Do they look too dark?
    I need to decide if to do mine
