I love all this fabrication and welding. There something satisfying repairing a car that most people would be too scared to even look at.

    Top work fella.

Well today I set to the O/S/F inner wing. Welded it up to tie in the bulk head and the sills/ outriggers etc.

Nice and sturdy two mm plate used

Then I moved up wards on to the chassis leg to find its hard it about the battery tray/turret top..

    Its amazing what sealer hides...

    Cut a bit more out..

The turret is clean bar surface rust..

    Battery tray/torret

    All welded up..

Wants a grind down but it very strong and will do the job Lovely

Was welded from both sides to.

Front Chassis leg.. isnt to bad inside..

    And the torret

Thats all for today, am Knackered Lol

    Todays efforts..

Welded in this bit of the torret again using 2mm plate donated by Lewis.. Thanks pal.

Then I made this side. Pictures don't do it justice.. I think this is the strongest bit of the hole car. Its been seem welded all the way round and has a few plug welds into the turret to

    Quick lick of zinc primer.

When I get the engine out I will grind it all down a lot better and smooth the lot.

Cut most of the chassis leg out and as you see I also welded a few bits while it were open..

Painted all the inside again, but no photo!

then welded on yet more 2mm plate. oh and did a bit more wire wheeling.. horrible job!!

    Painted.

Once the rad is out I will weld all the front up with one plate.

    Started smoothing the door..

That's it for today folks.. going to get some tea then pop round to Chris (seno_v6) to collect my new tail gate and may start welding his car lmao!
