    Default audi quattro sytem?

    Looking into buying a 2.6 v6 audi a4 quattro on an n plate anybody know how strong the 4x4 sytem is and anything i should look out for when i look round it?

    the 4x4 is stupidly strong, never heard of one breaking on a normal car.

    got one in next week with gearbox fail. Has done 120k mind.

    very rarely fail, just make sure you change the transfer box oil every now and then,

    pretty bullet proof. front upper connecting arms are usualy most common thing to replace. along with cv boots.

    when they are cold the box can be a bit stiff/ notchy. this is normal due to the tolerances the box is built to.
