Just done a bit of digging for you, none of which is helpful towards working out IF this clutch will fit but does give a few pointers about both types of clutch/

Twin plate clutches are apparently in a lot of cases lighter than a single plate as the the housings are very heavily machined. Twins are apparently also better for high rpm gear changes and tend to give less shock on the transmission.

ALL read of the internet YO but some valid points tbh.

Most of what I have read is from owners of powerful turbo cars, none of this naturally aspirated slow rubbish

twin plate will probably be 'lighter' in that the smaller diameter means less inertia, hence why an F1 clutch has about 4 plates and fits in the palm of your hand.

Dont get me wrong it might be better to stick with what you have as there maybe a simple solution but is worth having a quick think about all your option's before you go to mad.

Yes your correct mate a twin 5.25" would be lighter, dunno why i put a single would be lighter was one of those mind drifting moments

Its probably heavier tbh, as it's extra stacked metal to a bigger depth, and twice the components, but lower inertia due to the diameter.
