i loved all the bits just scattered around the peugeot boot and floor, its like a spares shop in there, if ever you broke down i reckon he would have the bit in there somewhere

I'm not sure what cams other than there piper steveboyslim fitted them and I have never looked at what is stamped on the side.

What events will you be using the car for? Any idea of a target date for its first outing? or is it a case of when its ready its ready kind of thing.

Still tho 244bhp in a little car like that is good and will be surprising plus leaves you room to improve if you think you need to in the future.

Cheers mate. Why is yours coming to bits? I bought that setup baecause the price difference wasnt much and the option was dangled in front of me. Why a 5.25"?
Didnt you run a 12.2 at USC???

Well its update time. Me and wwmnw cracked on this morning to trial fit the clutch assembly to get the measurements to figure out which hydraulic bearing is needed.
We started by weighting the old clutch and new clutch assembly. You might be suprised at the weight differences.
Old helix paddle clutch assembly and ttv flywheel

new AP clutch and ttv flywheel

Flywheel as it sat on the engine

clutch assembly as it sits on the crank

when we offered the box up and found when the gearbox bolts were nipped up the box fouled the clutch housing

    Another

When speaking to steve we have come to the conclusion that running a alloy spacer between the box and block and power filing and touch of the case should do the trick. I have got loads more to update We just ran out of time to take the pics but ill try and do that while I make a template spacer tomorrow.
    Cheers Gareth

Quite a weight saving there, bet your glad you went for that now, good value for weight lost i think!

How much clearance do you need mate? as in how thick is the spacer going to be?
