    Default MK2 Astra 1.6 engine?

i wanted a slight engine upgrade, nothing that takes too much time or work because the 1.2 isnt doing it for me any more i came across a 1989 mk2 astra 1.6 in the scrappy and the engine looks like its in very good condition. question is, is it just a case of swapping the engines over? no more work necessary? because they are both carb. help would be appreciated, thanks

Your shafts will be fine but you will need the gearbox
