I'll stick my neck out an say it possibly accelerates up to 100mph similar or quicker then the turbo would have, due to less chance of massive power wheelspin etc??

Might be wrong, but if it's near 200bhp and my 185bhp is anything to go off...

Mazz you should have another go/passenger in mine since after the mapp, saying that i need cash ASAP!

Acceleration wise it wouldnt stand a chance against the turbo. From 40upwards, the turbo would slaughter it. But its not slow by any means. Easily clocks the speedo in no time. It isfar lighter, handles much better, and just feels more planted. Im growing to love the tb sound too!

No chance, well maybe for the first 5 metres.

Mine even whopped my pals bmw 130i Msport of the line, I was shocked. I was expecting him to get more grip then me catching him up.

i went in it yesterday, isnt far of the turbo, plus you dont have to watch the boost gadge waiting for it to blow up each time you nail it.

We put a diode in that up by the clocks and thats now sorted. (note to anyone running MBE, that this may happen)Paul
Paul, cheers for that. Mine's been doing this for ages. I know it's something to do with the MBE ECU relay getting a small enough "leak" voltage just to keep going. My way of turning off the engine is to step on the brake once (brake lights on = voltage drop) to shut down the engine. Just one of those things... LOL

One day I'll start a build thread. One day...
