Triangulation is best, I would weld in some bar/box section to maintain the shape of the rear of the car.
Prob best to weld to the roofs inner side strengtheners and join to the opposite side inner quater and arch etc. Use multiple bars front to back and measure everting befor you start cutting just in case you get some movement.

I reckon before you get to this stage you want the floor legs and inner arches all done

cheers lads, i am fitting the full floor Edd, rich i was going to weld a rear strutt brace between the rear turretts and a triangle form each turrett to the opposing roof corner as you say, measurements will be plenty as i dont want any flex as this would spell disaster, i have rear inner arch panels as templates to repair the sections and the rear panel will still be in place to hold ech side together,
as you can understand nobaody has removed and refitted a full boot floor and rear chassis legs before so its a little frightening

argh , the floor has to go in before the legs but the inner sills and inner arches have to be repaired before that, quarters and rear panel will be a piece of piss after that

    that pic scares me

IMO if you have the bracing done as you said it's time to crack out the drill mate, get the legs and floor out and go from there

Quicker you start the quicker it's done
