Vectra SRi 140 - irmscher goodies
Looks like the vectra's time to go, it does need some work doing which i dont have the facilities or money to do. im bored of the car aswell which doesnt help.
basic details........
1999 vectra SRi140
153k miles but still runs well and pulls strong (ive done 14k in it in the 16months ive had it with the only problem being the previous owners rough attempt at repairing the cam sensor wiring, which all sorted properly now) in that time ive done 3 oil/filter changes and its had a set of plugs
MOT'd untill 12th (iirc) september
Taxed untill 10/11
Half leather interior
Lowered 60/40
Phase 2 GSi wheels
Genuine and stamped irmscher GSi front bumper with working fogs and irmscher upper and lower grills
Oval exhaust and will chuck in a irmscher dd backbox
Bad points........
Steering rack has play, recon rack supplied tho
needs 2 tyres (the front is a direct result of the rack not behaving as it should imo)
there a knock from the rear (standard on vectras)
thrust release bearing is noisy when the clutch is in, im fairly sure its either because a cheap one was used or its got abit of dirt on it. its been doing it as long as ive had the car and doesn't effect the driving of it in any way
cracked windowscreen - was as stonechip untill a few weeks ago. Its on the passenger side (by the tax disc) so not a MOT failure
doors are starting to scab at the bottom/as is a rear arch
overall its a nice car that has a few niggly problems, im looking at around £700 or possible part-ex's
