The piece I pi$$ed up yesterday cut in half perfectly to make the above so no tubing wasted! yay! Not sure now whether to make it into an X or leave as is. Not exactly easy to get into for a fat lad now.

crosses or just the single diagonal as a token effort, that bar floating around in the middle of nowhere is doing pish all for anything.

Needs to be full cross then! Diagram makes sense. Its hard getting in & out as it is now but probably cos its all lose. Once welded will prob be easier.
Was waiting for the next piece of the puzzle to get priced up but now directions have changed. It will now be turbo powered and a much simpler design, albeit not as good but will be a massive improvement over normal nova suspension.you still messing with this, by the time its made you will have forgot how to put it back together again!
I'm looking like being made redundant on friday and on garden leave for 3-6mths so will have plenty of free time! Lol

Gardening leave ftmfw, is that on basic pay or have you got some commission based stuff lined up as well? Good luck finding a new job though dude, staying in finance stuff? I'll have to come up one sunday or something and give you a hand with it
I'm sort of on garden leave. I am required to see clients as and when required but not to seek out appointments. That period ends mid-october then I have essentially a 10 week notice period to serve but the company are looking to pay us the notice up front so essentially my last day is 29th October and this is the day I can start a new job in the industry if I so wish.
I plan to set up as an IFA but that will most likely not be until the new year and I have to make a decision whether to use this opportunity to go do some travelling or not. I also plan to use the time to do some hardcore studying and get some qualifications under my belt in a bid to move towards Chartered status.
Money wise I'm going to be on my average wage for the last 12months based upon all elements of my pay which is an excellent deal to be honest. So its pretty much earnings as usual. I've got 8 years service with them too (I miss out on 9 years by 20 days Grrrrr!!!!) and that package is also excellent but that money needs to be put to one side for the new business
