The old forum had a little extra code from Kev that would prevent a post from appearing if it had a URL in there and the poster had less than 15 posts.... this isnt a feature in this SW. Plus from what Lee says the control panel for the new VB is somewhat confusing (well maybe for Bottle Top Bill) so some extras will take a little time to implement, so please be patient.... or would you rather have the old software back that had gone spazzy and put double/triple posts everywhere
Given the place was inundated with them in 18 hrs I'm not looking forward to how its gonna look on monday morning :s
is there no members list now? i liked to see when i was in the rep list

Is it possible some threads are gone? I had a lot more posts and some WIPP threads? Or are these still on the way?
IMO, the looks needs have getting used to but it's quicker for me

I think all of the threads and posts from the old site/software are still here, but it seems the search only works from when this forum went live, so although the old stuff is there, the new forums search will not find it, hope that makes sense to you

Unfortunately so, as i tried the 'click user' - 'view all threads started by user' and it wouldnt bring up anything
I think they're slowly updating, as when I last searched for something it had threads from 06 or something, but cut off beginning of 07 or so. So it seems to be catching up slowly, by 2012 we should be able to search threads in real timeI think all of the threads and posts from the old site/software are still here, but it seems the search only works from when this forum went live, so although the old stuff is there, the new forums search will not find it, hope that makes sense to you
