started cleaning up my calipers at work today...this took about an hour in my lashed up sandblasting box

did some random marking out today for the cutting at the weekend...butting me buhket in and sitting in it to roughly work out where its going to be

it all lined up perfectly



even more so with the wings on

its a mk2 golf slam panel...and yes i am (more than likely) cutting up the early tailgate .

i have a shonky mk2 (im sure it is) tailgate too... might chop that up first and see how that looks.

I hope that crank is being reground etc anyway? As the surface rust on it is gonna cause you issues otherwise.

yea i put it in there to stop any more rusting but now the windows etc will b coming out ill cake it in thick grease

i was strolling past the nova...grinder in hand, turned on, wearing glasses....as you do and i tripped





OH NOES!!!! the early tailgate got caught in the accident too

what back are you putting in it? astra estate??

yes, if i can find a mk2, which is incredibly unlikely, or a mk3 as im sure ive seen a mk3 one used before
