c20ne into corsa question

ive bought a c20ne to put in my corsa 12 8v. it came with no power steering pump. can i use the corsa pump?
i was thinking about removing the power steering, is it a simple as getting a rack from a non power steering car and fitting it and doing away with the fluid tank and pipes?

another thing is the mount thats needed on the drivers side of engine i see a lot advertised for 20xe is it the same mount just depending wither you have type 1 or 2 body

the mount depends on the year of your corsa if its a facelift then it will most probs be the type 2 mount and yes the 20xe is the same as its a bigblock mount and with the steering aslong as its not eps you have then just swap racks over fella the pump wont fit and iirc you need a diff mount for power steering

power steering will be out then, and ill get a mount. ive only ever done small block transplants. it seems fairly straight forward. even the wiring for the loom, into the little black plug beside the ecu. not as scary as i imagined.
ill probably end up with a few more questions before its finished

i was going to get a pic up here and ask cause cant find a def answer and cant find pictures of both types to see the difference

If you get a pic i'll tell you for sure, But I'm pretty certain it will be type 1.

heres a pic of the mount, followed buy some questions


the plug n relay are cut of my loom so the ones on the left i have figured out are going to join the black plug in corsa.
the ones on the right should these be going to a relay? will the corsa purple coloured relay do the job? if so wires are differet colours.


heres what i think is a problem with my loom its been cut. obviously need rejoined. some of the wires are the same colour
eg blue and brown striped wire.
will it matter if i just join colour for colour or will they need to be joined specificy think there are 4
blue and brown striped wires. can i join them randomly or will i need to trace them through the loom to see what they are?


theres connections on the coil for 2 plugs but i can only find one plug, thats coming from fuel rail in the pic. should
there be another and where should it go?
