    Default indecisive...

well folks, here we are again, been a while since ive been on but upgraded to club member last night, for all those who didnt get sick enough of my last WIP, i started again... i got my 1400 engine finished and in, had an oil leak from the crank seal behind the fly, so i ripped it all off, changed the seal, still leaked... so i tried all the s h 1 t t y chemical additives and none of them worked, so i made an executive decision and the 1400 is going due to suspected cracked block. good job ive still got my 1300 engine, which was ceased solid... so i stripped it, knocked the pistons and rods out and had the crankcase in the house for a while before i decided to rebuild it for the nova. i never wanted to transplant to the C14SE but it was a very cost effective (or so i thought) option at the time... so, the 1300... ive honed the bores out, polished the crank and got it back together, got a whole new set of gaskets to go on it, new pistons and ARP bolts (< cheap they are :s) im also sorting all the bodywork out, changing the colour coded back to the original SR colour scheme, grey bumpers, spoiler etc... got myself a toy mig welder too so rotten arches are going too... nice. got a few pics but my lock up is about a mile from home and my phone is gay and dies after every time i take a picture so they are limited.

    empty...

Cheers Iain and Connor, ill get some more pics soon, ill take some of the carnage which occurred during ripping off my pooey fibreglass flush boot... and then some more once the bumper and spoiler are grey again, im going to do the whole bottom of the bootlid glacier until i can get my hands on an SR vinyl, and not one off gay-bay... also got to do the B pillars and door handles grey again, and the wheels, im going to use the blue engine paint to do small subtle detailing, like the 8v badge in the grille and the TSW logos on the wheel centre caps... cant fookin wait!!
