nova saloon for sale
it has come to the time for me to sell my vauxhall nova saloon.
with my other project and family to think of, ive decided that its time for the saloon to go on and be enjoyed by some one else.i would sooner it go to another nova enthusiast so thats why im advertising it here first.
ive had it for nearly four and a half years and spent lots of time and money on the car.

here is the spec of the car.
1990 3 door saloon, in red, 51k from new, 3 owners,inc myself, has 5 months tax and will have 12 months mot before its sold. currently runs out in april. the engine was originally a 1.0 but is now declared and on the log book as a 1.4.
EXTERIOR.
resprayed in 2008 (original colour), sr snowplough front bumper, sr front wind screen,new headlights, front indicators, side repeaters, twin reverse rear lights mk2 saloon rear bumper, de-locked doors,original ochre bumper tape,single wiper conversion,alloy petrol cap,rear mud flaps,
INTERIOR
burberry check grey front and rear seats, 6 dial orange needle sr dash clocks, sr steering wheel,sr centre console and lower dash shelf,half roll cage bolted in,
ENGINE/GEARBOX
originally a 1.4 sr.
it has been fully re-built with a piper stock rod cam,piper adjustable vernier,1.6 head,diesel valve springs,ngk spark plugs, lighten and balanced flywheel, twin choke pierburg carb set up so that both chokes open at the same time, Kand N air filter. when the engine was rebuilt it also had new distributer cap,rotor arm,leads,cambelt,water pump,starter motor,altunater belt,samco water hoses,coil,radiator,
the engine was professionally tuned up on a rolling road at mark shilabear race design where its output was 95bhp. this was done not long after the engine was rebuilt and has done around 4k since.
the gearbox is from a nova sri, its a f10 with a cr 3.94.
EXHAUST
full janspeed mild steel exhaust system with 3" tail pipe, back box has been made longer to suit saloon rear bumper. 4 branch sportex manifold also in mild steel.
WHEELS
7x15 ronal turbos with 175-50-15 tyres, goodyears on the front and kumho on the rear.all wheels are in excellent condition with no scuffs on the outer lips, all are straight with the correct spiggot rings and bolts.
SUSPENSION
front jamex coil overs, front lower anti roll bar, front sparco upper strut brace,rear boot brace(bolt in type) rear lower anti roll bar, half roll cage, bilstien rear shock absorbers with 100ml custom made rear spings.
flo-flex bushes used through out car.
BRAKES
front 256 ml discs with ate calipers and trw front pads, rear standard drums with new wheel cylinders goodridge brake hoses.
STEERING
2.5 turn quick rack with new rack ends and track rod ends.
the car has also benifited from having both front wheel bearings being replaced,and has been fully wax oiled underneath.there is proberly more but i cant think of them at the mo.
there are some bad points to mention which i had planned to sort out over christmas but it never got done.
there are some bubbles of rust forming on the nearside rear arch,
it could benifit from the roof/bonnet/scuttle panel and tops of the wings being re-sprayed as the paint seems to have formed very small cracks in it,though still shines very well. i had the boot respayed last year as it did this first but was sprayed at a different time to the rest of the car so i thought that might have been why, but now the rest of the car has started to go the same.
the drivers seat bolster has worn through and there is a fag burn on the rear seat, i have the right material for these defects to be replaced.
i also have some spares like a boot,rear window, and other spares to go with the car.
