Hmmm My 5w30 powered Nova, I like the sound of that!

i filter it only through a gauze though,id only use good used oil,not worth the hassle if it has crap in,doesnt run any different though i change my filter every few tanks as i like to keep it reliable for sake 0f £7

So say change the filter once a month?

as oil is lighter than water & will 'float', simply syphoning it from high up in the drum using a clear hose will solve the water issue... but i reckon running it thru a decent filter, before putting it in the tank is a must..
i'm thinking an old style CAV296 as found on all old tractors, plant, and diesel stuff from the 60's as the elements are pence..and it has a water trap.
