i get a short engine for £50, gaskets for 25, my spare time is free, and i get an engine for £75

a 16v one is going to be 3-400
Mike i watched a whole v plate vectra b end on the bay, about 10 miles from me, mot fail (brake pipes, tyres arm bushes) 87k. It made £330.

irc, you couldn't build it in the x18xe1 block because of the breather on the side,

would have to fit the lot into the other block.

From breakers yards yes, an E16SE would cost you that from them too.

Last one I enquired into from a private breaker wanted £200ish for everything bar the transponder/key/ecu combo, as that'd been scrapped with the car that was needed out of the way.

if youve got all the e16se bits then i can see the point but it could end up costing you just as much buying a complete 1800 imo

they are available for a good price if you keep your eyes peeled mowgli
