    Default new head unit

    just got a blaupunkt toronto mp73 head unit and updating the current speakers in my nova, will everything fit in pretty easily or will i need to buy a cage made for a nova?

    All cages are pretty much the same so aslong as your new one has the correct cage for itself then it should fit no problems!

    as spud says really they are all the same size.

    there are two different types of locking though, when you push your head unit in and lock it in - if you have the right cage you will be fine.

    one type has a lock in each corner, and the other one has one either side in the middle.

    well the cage came with the unit so im guessing it should be fit! but thats good news, cheers

    The cages are specific to different makers so you always have to fit the cage it comes with unless it's the same make as your replacing and all nova's have the right size hole in the dash

    if it is a good old din fitting, it will go straight in. the wiring should be pretty easy too. the std speakers will take about 20w without complaint
