Other than that, enjoy shafting where and when you want, also crapping with the door open etc etc
seems simple enough then :D. well with the little one being due in 8 weeks it will be a case of shafting simply when we can .

yeas.. I must remember to get that lock fitted!

Anyway, back on the rental topic. I couldnt afford to get any contents insurance when I moved into my place but my landlords cover the buildings insurance. hope you get good landlords, mine are lovely. but old skool with their money though as they want absolutely everything paid with a cheque!
They are rich as fook tho so im hoping if im really nice they will let me holiday in their house in the bahamas!

Deffo need contents insurance,( landlord should have all his relevant insurance including buildings)..I'll check with Sturge as he has his other house rented out.
    Television licence,
    Council tax,
    Water rates,
    Gas,
    Electric.
    Phone.
    Sky...

    Good luck with the move..

Internet! Find out if there's a BT landline there, or if the previous residents had one as then you could wangle out of the connection fee.

from my experience of renting, take a stack of photos of every room & get them printed off...
then when it comes to leaving, you have everything properly sorted.
i had a landlord try to stop my deposit because of cobwebs, dust & an overgrown lawn.. they checked it 3 weeks after i'd left, and guess what, the grass had grown, and the house needed dusting & hoovering...
