My solid lifter 1600 revved to 8800 on the pit straight at Brands with a 4.53 diff in it. Doh! Wrong diff choice, and every time it went past 8500 I started to cringe! It survived. Went bang three races later though!

standard 1.2s do not go past 7500 ish FACT!!! the valvetrain can't take it. bmw156 will vouch for this as i proved it to him
my 1.3 rev needle went round to 6'oclock....she loved it

Burgos right 1.2s wont rev past 7500 iirc the 1.4s may well do though.
