yes, older cars crumpled more, mostly onto the occupants. Modern cars still crumple, but do so in a controlled fashion.

audi fact, all audis built after 1973 use the same bellhousing pattern, so fitting your 20v 5 cyl to grandads 1975 100ls is a bolt in swap.....

Getting the NLA bits required from Audi for the rest of the conversion is quite another thing (trust me, I'm an Audi owning geek!)

nice get pics up!! im trying to get pics off my mate's quattro when he puts the engine in people who go to york drag way will see it next year!! he's spent f*ck loads on the engine allone he and a.e arnets (those who built the engine) claim its capable off 800 horse with the current set up but we will see
