    I had a set of downdraught Webers on a Fiesta Superspeed Mk.1 many years ago, and the bonnet cleared that OK.

    And yes, I do mean a Superspeed (not a Supersport!).

    Never seen a downdraught set-up on a Vauxhall motor though, interesting.

    40 DCNF Webers on my Fiesta if I remember correctly.

    But I also had a Mk.2 RS2000 on downdraughts, and those were 44 IDF's (homologated Group One specification).
