    Will they be putting the same box with the same problems in again? Hardly much use if you'll only get another 13k out of it as well.........

    It will only have the same gearbox back in. Im hoping it gets a full rebuild myself rather than a box. Because its alignment issues with the internals that cause them to go like this. Vaux out source the rebuilds and they go to my Uncle whos a proper specialist and will do a spot on job.

    Id personally prefer the rebuild. But then if i have a new box, i drive them properly and my motors are looked after properly so the common problem would take forever to arise.

    A new twist to it all. The main Techy bloke is extremely busy and unable to get down to view my car. So, (listen to this) given its such low mileage and that its out of manufactures warranty there willing to go 50/50 on what will be a £1200+vat job, the totally forgot that they were made aware of the fault twice shortly after i bought the car. So you can imagine what i said to that. Im now waiting for the main sales guv up there to contact me monday as now hes going to be involved. Deep joy.
