Yeah A16VTB was a reshelled (red, plough) SR which went into a van shell.
Didnt it go off to ASW at some stage?
As for Mark Watt's old car, I saw it at TRAX a few years ago after all the talk of it being ruined & it looked well, only lacking a grille.

Correct. All this info was in one of the early PNG News mags. It was featured accross 2 mags. There were pics of Jon Shields SR & when it was rolled. Apparently it sat at Courtenay for ages until being built. It was the 1st XE conversion they were going to build, but Chris Courtenay offered a turbo conversion for the engine if John got the XE in their to start with. LOL
