    Default Cav/Cally heated leather

    I have the seats , switches and some wire to make a loom

    what else do i need relay?

    how do i go about wiring them up?

    You need a relay and a suitable fuse per seat.

    Run the main feed from the battery through the fuse to the relay, from the relay to the seats to ground. Take the feed for the switches from an ignition live to the switching terminal on the relay.

    the way vaux wire there is no relay iirc inside the seats there some type of power cut off thermo switch or something. they are wired with a switched live of the cigarette lighter circuit that goes to the switches. also at the swiches is illumination and earth. then 1 wire to each seat from the switch and the earth from the seats goes right back to the battery.

    I run these in mine all i used was the cig lighter feed for live and earth and theyve work for 2yrs now no probs the seats themselves have a thermal cut off switch so no need to worry on that side of things.

    I just added to the c/l e/w loom using the switch plugs, added an additional ground there the factory one is between the seats but did run an wire for the illumination so the switches only light up when they are supposed to
