Vauxhall Nova 2.0 16v C20xe
Vauxhall nova -
Originally a 1.2 merit.
Resprayed in john deere yellow
Had been in dry storage for 3 years when my mate bought it, and then realised he did not have time for it so i bought it off him but am having a clearout of cars and spares.
Clean shell with only a few tiny parking dings and no visable rust. Underneath is not rotten, and arches are in pretty good condition (had new ones welded in before the respray).
Plates have been welded in the engine bay, and the cutout for the alternator has been made in the chassis leg.
Wheels shown are not included but can either bring your own to put onto it, or might be able to sort out some steelies/spare alloys to put on.
Exterior-
Full repsray in john deere yellow
Gsi skirts
Semi smoothed boot with spoiler
Black pressed plates
Euro rear lights
Interior -
Cobra bucket seats on fixed subframes (harnesses not on it anymore)
Spare wheel well plated over
Side panels cut out to save weight
Door liners cut out to save weight
Dash cut out, with just dials and heater left.
Fuel pump inside with cutoff switch
Engine -
Just over 70k on the engine
Early c20xe bottom end
Early forged mahle pistons etc.
Reconditioned late head, freshly skimmed.
Just had new head gasket and new head bolts.
Previous owner claimed regrinded cams in it, but i have no proof. Cams do have numbers stamped on the ends though and look in very good condition.
Running gear -
40mm springs on the front, no springs in the rear at the moment (hence sitting so low).

Bad points-
Underside of bonnet not yellow
To run the wiring needs a bit of sorting out and engine needs a few finishing pipes, exhaust manifold tightening etc.
Gear linkage needs connecting.
Slight rust under the battery tray in the normal place and doors are rusting at the bottom in the normal nova place.
Ideal little project track car will be a nice car when completed.
MAY SPLIT THE ENGINE FROM THE SHELL IF I HAVE INTEREST IN BOTH PARTS SO EMAIL IF YOUR INTERESTED IN ANYTHING.
