I wasn't on about the crank from the vxr i meant the rods, i just wondered if you knew if they were available at reasonable cost? and if they would fit the 16xe crank?

Have you spoken to anyone about the machined inserts for the pistons yet? I will go in with you if you don't mind? might even lower the cost having a few more done?

I'm going to get the bits from Gav for the manifold when funds allow and have a crack at it myself, what are you using the engine for?

Gaz-d (andy who drives the purple corsa) has said he can get it done at his work reckons people do it all the time apparanlty his work is spot on he is doing the head for my let at the minute. Im plannig on using this engine in my everyday road car with my leather and a let in my track car

I knew you and gav were in it together (its not like your sig gives it away either ) are you going to try the vxr rods or just H beam steel rods like i was on about when you suggested steve?

Would you be happy to get 8 inserts machined and i pay for 4 of them?

What sort of power are you aiming for?

Jim, i pulled you can f20 out but the diff plates been off so there's no gasket on it, do you still want it? (you can still buy them)
