not entirely true.the carbs bug lads use are ida's the downdraft version of dcoe's
the 40, 44's and 48s mainly used for the street are known as IDF's. they have i think 3 progression holes whereas the 48IDA's only have 2, so most people favour the IDF's for street use unless they just dont mind the stop/starting.
