My 1.2 Project

The time has come for me to start a project thread this will be one of the longest projects as im doing other things and dont get all time in world to do bits

my names Rob and am 17 and live in west yorkshire and its a mk2 red 1.2 carb'd engine not really that bad pretty solid more cosmettic damage from previos owner dents, scrapes and scratches so will mainly only need spray painting


will get a few pics up in a bit as im busy atm like i said will be a very slow and steady "project"
Picture that was on ebay when i bought it this was purchased about 6 months ago it was advertised on here i think




Dent On Passenges side rear quarter so sanded and primed prevent rusting for time being


damage to roof dont no how (was suposadly from a wagon ripping the bonnet off and dragging it across the roof) damage to bonnet did support this but who no's


I fitted a new tank that cost £1 as other on leaked

was wondering when i go to get it sprayed what color do you think ive had a few colors in my head

lamborgini(sp) orange
Back To Red
Baby Blue
a perlecent color Not Chavvy

any ideas and opinions

hi there ive heard you can do a 1.6 coversion would there be any pont with the 1.3 carb 1.6 cam and that? or is it not apning

cheers will be no progress as going away for 2 week so when i get back im going to crack on get dents pulled out/ filled in ect get ant rust cut and wlded and spray job her way

have got my carpets put in but unfortunatly found a rust hole in the mulle of the boot :/ and i cant weld no welder any 1 have any ideas how i can get it repaird
