carb to inlet gasket

Hi all - just a quickie, What is the best/most suitable gasket material to make a gasket to go between carb adapter plate and the inlet? theres lots off different types and i know not to use the cork stuff

ive tried gasket sealer - didnt seem to do the job, It was the paper I was meaning - is there any particular type/thickness to go for?

ime the thicker the better. but lots of places dont sell the thick stuff anymore

worst case, get some cereal box and smear gasket goo on that

its modified, ive ordered some carb gasket paper .8mm thick so will see how it goes - thanks for the replies guys fingers crossed
