    if it doesnt work you can always use one of them rca adapters which attaches onto a set of speaker wires and it has a box on it which converts it to an rca output, that would work.

    What? car batteries? chargers?

    use a computer power supply, i powered an amp with a sub and 6x9's like this

    Why not just buy a sub designed for use with a domestic stereo?

    Or is that too simple?

    That's Aux IN, for things like record players and that.
