MINT nova gsi Courtenay turbo! ** REDUCED**
The time has come for me to sell my pride and joy! A reluctant sale after all the time and money I have spent on it! There was no expense spared on this car! I bought the car from a lady owner who bought it new! I have had the car for 5 years.
It was a completely standard silk violet gsi.
I have rebuilt it from a bare shell and it has been professionally painted to starmist black in 04. It really is outstanding!
I then did a front end rebuild in 07 which you can see in the projects forum, All parts used are genuine Vauxhall.
I had the Courtenay turbo conversion and engine rebuild also in 04 and have only done 7 thousand miles over 5 years since then!
It is absolutely mint! With no rust, dents or scratches! Its only used on dry days in the summer and has always been taken off the road in the winter!
As you can see from the pics this really is a great example and is in show condition!
The engine bay has had everything either polished, chromed or powder coated!
With a rare 1.6 8v turbo, Courtenay don’t do this conversion anymore!
It has 12 months MOT & 6 months tax.
Engine:
Fully rebuilt 1598cc 8v, bored out to 1650cc with oversize pistons, lowered compression ratio, new camshaft, cs15 head, polished and balanced crankshaft, Courtenay turbo conversion using Garrett T2 turbo, Courtenay actuator, relocated oil filter, Courtenay intercooler, FSE power boost valve, custom made polished stainless steel inlet pipe, Courtenay red silicone hoses used through out, samco red silicone hose kit. Bailey header tank, spec R washer bottle, Bailey dump valve, k&n induction kit, new clutch & throttle cables, new alternator, powder coated engine mounts & new rubber mounts all round, new gear linkage, Rebuilt & painted f13 gearbox with LSD, custom made straight through exhaust with 4" jap style slash cut tailpipe.
Suspension:
Avo adjustable dampers, avo springs lowered 60mm all round, polished sparco front strut brace, polybushes, powder coated control arms & anti roll bars.
Brakes:
V6 callipers with Courtenay 288mm 16 grove discs and mintex pads. Custom made braided hoses.
Wheels/Tyres:
16” Atek, tek 1 with 195/40/16 Dunlops sp sport 9000.
Bodywork:
Complete rebuild, full respray in Vauxhall starmist black, car under sealed, new rolled rear arches, new front cross member and front panel, new head lights & indicators, new roof runners, strengthening plate kit, de-badged front and back, de-locked, body coloured handles and fuel filler cap, aerial removed, single wiper remaining hole, yaris rear wiper
Interior:
Momo race steering wheel, custom fibre glass A pillar pod trimmed in black vinyl which holds boost gauge.
ICE/Security:
Alpine head unit kenwood 6x9s, Cobra Immobiliser, remote locking with Toad alarm
Its hard to put a price on this but as I have spent around £14k on it I am looking for £5995.
