If your amp has mosfit on it,the amp when gets to hot cuts off to stop it blowing.also a bigger size battery helps if your light start to dim with the bass

if the amp cuts out because of this mosfit, what can i do about that? i played about with the settings on the amp yesterday, the bass was set to full. so i turned that to half, turned up the volume to when it cuts out, and it didnt. so i turned it up higher and then it cut out. but you know the settings on the head unit where you can change where the sound comes from, front or rear? i changed it to -2 rear and the amp doesnt cut out until you turn it stupidly loud now. so problem solved i think

    Default maplin wire

i work for maplin and wire is good quality and cheap. would reccommend. i would also suggest you go for 4awg which is pretty thick stuff.
