No matter how cheap, i wouldnt want to own any car that requires complicated surgery to replace 4 spark plugs.

You've clearly never done a set of plugs on an Impreza thenOriginally Posted by loggyboy

Piece of piss once you get the right length 3/8" extension bar.
Infact the only job that is a REAL bitch on that engine is the exahust manifold but thats ok because engine out is only a 1.5 -2 hour job (on a drive way) thanks to the the bell housing being half way into the engine bay and the brilliant positioning of the downpipe :D
Makes doing a Nova lump feel like a hassle :D

First time I did the spark plugs on the GT4 it took an entire afternoon and 2 bottles of coolant (most of the first one went on the floor
)
The second time it took about 30 minutes from start to finish and no coolant! Tipped CC ftw![]()

What I found with mine was it was an easy car to drive fast and subsequently was first caught speeding the 2nd day I had it. It gives so much confidence to the driver due to the grip and roadholding, that you soon go faster and faster to get the same rush the longer you own it. When I first stepped into mine the 280bhp seemed phenomenal, 7 months later it was re-mapped for more power. I drove mine hard, but sensibly (warm up, cool down etc etc) and had no issues.
Would get one again, but my driving licence has now become even more valuable to me......

I find the opposite, never been caught speeding in a fast motor.. Been caught in slow ones; when you have a slow car you just want to keep it going as fast as possible because when you slow down it takes decades to build that speed back upOriginally Posted by Shaun_O'Donnell

I was on the way home after getting familiar with the car on good roads. On the motorway stuck behind a queue of overtaking traffic doing 70mph, as soon as it cleared wound it right up only to see a car keeping up with me, hmm, need to go a wee bit faster I thought. Yup un-marked Traffic car. They were very fair with me I must admit. First and last set of points on my licence.

This is the problem I have. I want to step into the car and thrash the life of it, park it up and leave it til the next time and I dont think it'd last too long though.
I spent 90% of my money on Drink and Women, the rest I just wasted.
