    Default SRI questions

As title, Im buying a Sri inlet and i think ive thought most things through, But im the kind of person that wants to make sure ive thought of everything before doing anything!

Im aware ive got to butcher in the sri loom into my 1.2 carb loom, change the fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel lines, but is there anything else?

    Questions:
    1. So have i forgotten anything?
    2. Do i need to replace ALL the fuel lines?
    3. Should it just slot inplace on my new 1.4 and not have to worry about changing anything as it was a SPI?

    Thanks in advance!

Is your 1.2 carb'd or single point inj. ? Can't work it out from above

If you had any kind of injection engine in there originall then you don't need to change lines. If it was carb'd then it'll only have low pressure lines which arn't suitable. Tank and pump you'd get away without changing TBH, if yours is an in tank pump under the seat I'd leave it there and uprate it if you need to later.

    Errrm, does that help?

Right, It was a 1.2 carb, Im hoping to fit a SRI inlet onto my 1.4 SPI engine (taken from a 1996 astra mk3 btw) I Do also have a 1.4 Sr head though.

The SRi inlet will not line up with the ports on the SR head and I believe they may not on the SPi engine either. The square ports are smaller and are offset also so will not match up.

    Anyone confirm?
