    Default 1.6 holding back under load

    my nova 1.6(e16se)seems to be holding back when putting my foot down and it doesnt seem to have the same throttle response as before .i have replaced the plugs,leads,rotor arm,distributor cap and ignition module but it is still the same anybody got any ideas?

    if its running a bit lumpy aswell clean the throttle body out with some carb spray and a brush

    sounds stupid at first but check the zorst isnt blocked, it happend to me all the internals blocked the pipe and it was fine in low revs but when i put the foot down its was lacking, and flat. get under the car and shake the zorst if it rattles it may be blocked

    no cat on it and exhaust seems fine

    split induction hose/ afm/ fuel filter need replacing??? funked pump /fuel pump relay

    Cam timing checked?

    yeah the plugs have been gapped.i shall check the timing
