    Glad i saw this thread, i didn't know it was this Sunday it was back on !! Cheers fella.

    It's true about the "car" he was "driving" ... its not the sort of thing you drive through traffic and get rear ended in is it. A "car" built with a f*cking big jet engine on the back and f*ck all in the way of steering will have at least some protection around the driver to stop him getting squished. Still lucky to come out in one piece, but you can't compare it to a normal accident in a normal car.

    PS. I think it's about time they started a racing series with the reasonably priced cars... let the public pay to take part racing around the top gear track. Anyone who has a go gets half price TV licence for a year

    PPS. Hammond crashed at 288mph.
