    Did a nova gsi or any nova come with black carpets?

    nope only way to do it is to dye standard ones or make new ones like baxter did

    o rite that sucks would that fabric spray paint do the trick?any advice will be kindly excepted

    Spraying it might work, probably take a lot of cans to get a good covering tho.

    A trick used on wheeler dealers was a can of matt black spray paint to change a grey parcel shelf to black on a 205GTI..........

    err - actually some of the GSi and GTE models came with black (well very dark charcoal) carpets - I actually got a black carpet from an old Nova Flair from a scrappy.

    Antibes had a red carpet!

    Look about - they are out there...

    As for dying - you cant really do that because the material is man made and wont dye well - also spraying make it do all crusty and hard.

    If you cant find one, get some bass box speaker material (the heave duty stuff) and cut it to fit.

    Yup, my H reg 2dr saloon came with very dark grey carpet...

    I think acoustic carpet would probably be quite expensive for the amount you need.

    it does state carpets but not sure what the end result would be as ade said it will go crusty but im not sure

    What should work is vinyl dye, its specifically for dying plastics, and isnt a paint so should'nt wear off. I'd imagine spray paint to wear off a carpet quite easily. Spray a test section somewhere out of sight, like under one of the front seats, or mats


    edit: just clicked that ebay link, that looks like vinyl dye.
