Default My nova WIP thread starting 14/09/05 (56K beware)

well i suppose i better start a WIP thread for my car, she is a 1989 1.0 and i bought her on the 9th of july this year, progress has been a little slow so far but hopefully soon things shall start speeding up a bit.

anyway here she is the day that i bought her..

As you can see a pretty much run of the mill poverty spec mk1 nova, lovley that means no heavy extra electrics and stuff :D .

The clean up began by first respraying the grill, mirrors and boot trim.

then it was onto the interior, first the dash has been treated to a new coat of satin black.

Then i decided to update the door cards a bit as they were looking a little bit on the shabby side.

I then decided the back seats are coming out and i also retrimmed all 4 rear quarter panels and the boot panel to match the doors.

Next was the centre console this one is my own little creation and i think it turned out pretty good :D

all thats left to do to the interior is spray all the exposed metal matt black, fit some GTE seats, an Astra GTE steering wheel, Nova GTE clocks, and harnesses, exterior wise the list is much much longer but look out for future updates :D

it take it ur not spraying the car then??
good ideas so far on the interior though, that black spraying works well.. but theres no denying it; a minimum 60mm drop and alloys are screaming to go on there lad. Keep it up though.

    Nice work mate.
I have to admit that the satin black mk1 dash looks a lot more modern than standard, nice one

Interior re-trimming looks cool as well

    Keep the work up.
